Hello, and welcome to the official website for Star Fox: Eclipse! I have been writing Star Fox fan-fictions since I was a kid, but over the years I finally decided to compose a more serious piece. I have been a long devoted Star Fox fanatic since playing the game "Star Fox Adventures" for the first time, and I have followed the series closely ever since.
My goal for this project was to describe the events taking place in the world of Star Fox after the video game "Star Fox Assault", . I realized through my research and writing that Nintendo had left many unanswered questions in the previous Star Fox games, and it became my mission to try and fill in some of these gaps. In the story of Eclipse, I attempt to make sense of the unexplained and give reasons for some of the events that occurred in the Star Fox video games.
Some of the basic questions I posed were: "Who were the aparoids? Where did they come from, and why did they venture to the Lylat System wreaking havoc in the first place?" I not only made connections to "Star Fox Assault", but also some to its predecessor game, "Star Fox Adventures." My thoughts around Adventures mostly revolve around the mysterious Krystal; What exactly brought her to Lylat in the first place? What caused her home planet, Cerinia, to be destroyed? How is her magical staff somehow related to the planet Sauria and its survival?

These questions and more led to the inspiration of the sequel, still a work in progress. Its working title is "Project Cerinia," a book taking the story of Star Fox and tracing its roots back to the destruction of Krystal's home planet. This idea is years in the making, but the novel is still early in the works, as I try to write occasionally during my graduate studies. I also plan for a third novel in the trilogy, jumping forward to the aftermath of Eclipse and bringing the story full circle.

You may know how Star Fox began: in the events of Star Fox 64, Andross was defeated at the hands of the hero, Fox McCloud, and the Lylat System was saved from destruction. You may know the truth; but not necessarily the whole truth. In Star Fox Adventures, a new character was introduced, the vixen Krystal of planet Cerinia. Unfortunately, all Nintendo told us was that Cerinia was destroyed, and Krystal traveled to Dinosaur Planet searching for answers surrounding her parents' deaths and her home's destruction. What Nintendo didn't tell us was how it was destroyed, by whom, and why. They did, however, leave us clues. In this story, you will discover the truth behind Krystal and her home world of Cerinia. Beyond the Lylat System, far from the planet Corneria, a dark and sinister plot arises. On the peaceful planet of Cerinia, a foreign evil brings death and destruction to everything Krystal loves and holds so dear. Within these pages, you will go on a journey into the roots of Star Fox, the other half of the story that was never told.
